Alexis Appezzato, LAC

Alexis is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Alexis has experience working with young children and adolescents who suffer from anxiety and depression, the LGBTQ+ community, and student-athletes struggling with role conflict/role expectations. She believes that every individual has their own story, set of circumstances, and struggles and likes to work collaboratively with the client to understand what they are experiencing and why; and derive from their own strengths to create positive long-lasting change. Alexis’ therapeutic approach combines Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions to help identify the client’s innate strengths, improve coping skills, and effectively handle stress.
