Cristina Lanzilotta, LPC

Cristina is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Kean  University. Cristina currently works as a Student Assistance Counselor (SAC) at the high school level and has been working in the school setting for the past 5 years. Cristina has worked with adolescents dealing with a multitude of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral and mood disorders. Adolescents today are dealing with more stressors than ever before and often need a trusted adult to confide in to help problem solve and feel heard. Utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy, Cristina works with her clients to help establish healthier coping and communication skills. Cristina is able to connect with her clients through encouragement, compassion and empathy in order to promote self-advocacy and improve self-esteem and self-confidence.
