Dr. Mandel, MD

Dr. Mandel received his Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his Residency in Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. He has been board certified in psychiatry since 2001 and is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Mandel has 20 years of clinical experience working with diverse populations. He has worked with clients spanning the entire spectrum of mental illness and substance abuse. He has collaborated extensively with and provided direct supervision to social workers, psychologists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, as well as resident and attending physicians. Dr. Mandel has a strong interest in mood, anxiety, and personality disorders. He has held numerous clinical and academic appointments, most recently serving as Chairperson of Psychiatry at Huntington Hospital in Huntington, New York.
