Stella Stempel, LCSW

Stella Stempel is a Licensed Social Worker and has been practicing as a Clinical Psychotherapist since 2014. After graduating from NYU with an MSW, Stella was accepted to complete post-graduate training in family and couples therapy at The Ackerman Institute for the Family. Currently, Stella is completing her Doctorate degree in Psychology. She has been practicing teletherapy since 2015 and is fully proficient in most insurance approved teletherapy platforms.

Stella believes that most individuals possess the innate capacity to heal themselves, but may lack insight due to emotional or psychological distress. She encourages her clients to be in consciousness with the self; ultimately, aiding their ability to access a more balanced, peaceful, and productive life. Stella’s specialty is working with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, mood swings, family and marital problems.
