Zhanna Berman, APN

Zhanna Berman is a board-certified advance practice nurse who specializes in providing family-focused care. She is board-certified to treat children and adults of all ages. She has prescribing privileges and can diagnose, adjust medications, and order diagnostic tests. APN Berman completed her dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Chemistry at the State University in Albany, where she graduated summa cum laude. She obtained a Master of Nursing Degree in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University, with honors. She holds national board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a family nurse practitioner. Zhanna’s previous positions included serving as a Health Educator of infectious disease at Bergen County Health Services and working over seven years in the Bergen County school system. She has also worked as a Nurse practitioner at St. Barnabas Medical Center in the Stroke Center, focusing on Neurological disease, as well as in Valley Hospital, as a Hospitalist. APN Berman has further been employed as a nurse practitioner in other diverse settings, including Neurology, ICU and Emergency Medicine. She holds certifications for Health Education, EKG, Arrhythmia Interpretation and Advance Life Support. Her philosophy for helping her clients is clear. To quote Helen Keller, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
