Derya Elif Kayat, PMHNP-BC
Derya Elif Kayat is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner who provides compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She believes that seeking mental health care is a courageous first step and that meaningful healing begins with trust, empathy, and feeling truly heard.
Taking a holistic, whole-person approach to care, Derya Elif takes the time to listen to each patient’s unique story. She recognizes that emotional well-being is closely connected to physical health, life experiences, relationships, and personal goals. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, she works closely with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans through comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, thoughtful medication management, patient education, and shared decision-making. She values collaborative care, bringing together patients, families, and other members of the care team to foster trust, informed choices, and meaningful progress.
Her goal is to create a calm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel respected, supported, and empowered throughout their journey toward lasting emotional wellness, improved daily functioning, and a higher quality of life.
We are mental health providers which specialize in a variety of conditions including Generalized Anxiety disorder, Major Depression, OCD, PTSD, Bipolar, Mood disorders, Autism, Personality disorders, Anger management, Addiction.
