As a highly energetic individual who has extensive experience in establishing supportive, motivational and therapeutic relationships with clients, I offer my services as a bilingual therapist. With almost a decade of experience as a licensed clinical social worker and a great ability to ensure an environment of safety and security for clients with mental and substance problems. My therapeutic approach is a psycho-social intervention that aims to improve your mental health. We will focus on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.

The primary goals of therapy are to know yourself better; alleviate emotional pain or confusion; assist you in developing a more complete understanding of your psychological issues, establish more effective coping mechanisms and foster a more accurate understanding of your past and what you want for your future.

I have had considerable success in assisting clients and their families understand and come to terms with their mental health and chemical dependency issues and have also been quite active in helping them develop skills for managing symptoms on their own.
