Magdala is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of New Jersey. She loves working with children, teens and families. Magdala uses a client-centered, humanistic approach, focusing on aspects of family systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while keeping careful consideration of cultural concerns and practices.
Each individual has a unique external and internal makeup. Our personalities are developed from our genetics and upbringing, but one thing about it is that our journey is unpredictable. When I work with individuals, I keep individual differences and needs in mind, as this also plays a role during therapeutic matching. I work with adults who are experiencing an array of difficulties, including to not limited to depression, anxiety, ADHD, Sexual assault, Trauma , and other life experience that often exhibited intrapersonally, interpersonally, at work and various roles that are required. I specialize in helping others work with trauma.
